Please call GA reps re: gas chambers

Apparently GA reps will be voting on 3/12 re: Grace's Law, named after a dog who survived the gas chamber and written to ban the chamber. It takes up to 25 minutes for the dogs to suffocate.

You may recall, I recently rescued Luna from GA. He was within a couple days of being gassed, after several reprieves over the holidays. He has turned out to be the sweetest puppy, self-housebroken, willing, affectionate, healthy, loving, loving, loving. It's sickening to think that they're gassing these homeless dogs. If they must kill them, lethal injection by a vet takes 90 seconds and is painless.

Thank you...I'm calling this morning. And giving blood in honor of DK, the DUer's son injured the other day.

I woke with the thought: We either choose to believe in the innate goodness of others, or not.

I choose to believe in the innate goodness in spite of the horror stories we're confronted with nearly daily.

*sighs*

Bless all the innocents and I pray their suffering will cease, especially at the hands of humans.
