I was just thinking last night about how much I've learned from the ASAH folks. Sometimes I feel a little bereft without my coven, but then I come here and feel so much better. There's always a great crew around to bounce ideas off of.

But more important, this place is so full of LIGHT and positive energy, kindness and compassion. There's NO mean spiritedness here and compared to other DU groups it's such a breath of fresh air. I love it here.

I felt a need to express gratitude for ASAH this am. I should do it more often I think. I lurk more than I post but it's nice to know there is a place I can go online and get not only a wide spectrum of information but know that I will find kind hearts here as well. It is very comforting.

it is the one place on DU I know I can come and not be put down for my beliefs. I'm only sorry that we can't advertise to "newbies" so they don't get battered and bruised when they innocently visit some of the other forums where our way of thinking is often not held in high esteem.

I was on DU for about 3months when I realized it was not a good idea by seeing some battered posters. But, really, any kind of post seemed like fair game :rofl: though the worst beatings were from the likes of us. What I found most moving was call out from some ASAH members to help out another being battered around DU :grouphug: What a group :)

11. I think some of us do go out to like-minded threads and pm

or openly invite the battered OP to come join us here. I do think that people are most likely to be drawn here too by their interests.
