I ran into a kindred spirit yesterday...at the post office.

So, yesterday I had to run out to mail a very belated package to one of our own, and while a rude person held up the line, (by talking on a cell phone instead of completing her transaction) the other employee at the post office came back to her terminal to help me.

I walk up to her computer and the first thing I see is a pile of crystals in front of her keyboard. I couldn't believe it. Amethyst, clear quartz, rose quartz, tiger's eye (not surprisingly, most of her crystals had to do with mitigating stress). So I mailed my package and (since there were no other customers) we talked about rocks for a bit.

I've met crystal fiends in a lot of places, but never anywhere as mainstream as the post office. Which I think is great.
