Kitty missing
Gossamer, our white part-Siamese long haired kitty is missing. She is prone to seizures and is often mentally foggy and confused. We have looked through the entire house and have searched the grounds and ... nothing.

She rarely goes outside and usually stays on the deck or slinks about our front yard-- but Sat. was very sunny and warm. My dh doesn't remember letting her out but she may have easily slipped out with someone.

I always half expected to find her some day, finally succumbing to a seizure, but not for her to just disappear!

1. Go home, Gossamer!
Those who love you are waiting.

:(

I hope that she shows up soon; I'm sending light with the intention that she make her way safely back home. (This or something better for the highest good of all involved.)

2. come home Gossamer
:grouphug: to Gossamer and her people.

Eilen, just in case, sometimes when their time has come to cross the bridge, they do just disappear.

3. That's sad. I'm sorry.
After I read this yesterday, I couldn't find mine. Fortunately, he's just found a daring new hiding spot. He used to come when I called him in from outside, but no more!

I hope you find peace and closure IF she doesn't show up very soon.

4. Prayer to St. Anthony
patron saint of lost items (and pets)

Dear St. Anthony, look around; something's lost that must be found.

I have used this prayer many times and it always works, even though I'm not Catholic! Be sure to thank the Saint when Gossamer is found.

5. Ask your angels to bring her home. Is there some way
she could have gotten locked in a basement, garage, or storage shed? Of course I'm sure you've already checked those places. Sending peaceful energies to you and your family, and "go home" energies to your kitty Gossamer.

6. Hope you find her soon
I had a cat once that went missing for a week. She was locked in a neighbor's garage while they went on vacation. She came home skinny and complaining, but whole, and lived for many years after that.

7. Gossamer be a good kitty and go home, your family misses you
and needs to know you're alright.

Let us know when Gossamer shows up. I understand how difficult it must be considering she is an indoor kitty. All my kitties are indoor kitties and they aren't prone to coming to me when I call them.

8. Any word?
She's close by -- in a garage or shed, possibly even a basement. It's a dark place, and I see her eyes shining. She's lost her bearings and is scared, but basically okay. If you haven't found her yet, ask around your neighbors homes, because she's not far away. She's just confused.

9. Thanks, no word yet
There is a local animal communicator that felt her being wet the other night and then warm and dry and though she might have been found. We have been advised to get some humane traps but I think we would just end up trapping all our neighbor's cats. Tomorrow is Sat. and people should have their garages open to do yard work etc. We plan to take a walk around and pass the word.

Also, we are looking for some old pics of her to put on a poster.

I've checked our backyard shed, the area underneath our deck, garage, our crawl space and basement. She isn't on the grounds.

11. I concur with Kookaburra, I see her in a crawlspace. Maybe not yours
perhaps a neighbor's. She does seem frightened.

13. Update: Gossamer found and is home!
We received an email this afternoon in which someone had found Gossamer 4 days ago. They brought her to the vet and he found her chip! She is in horrible condition but much better since the people found her. She had tar on her feet, was filthy, her eyes were slits and she has lost significant weight. They helped get most of the tar off her and washed and fed her but she is still really frail. She came home and ate, and is passed out on our "quilty" blanket in the den. Mardigras (our other kitty) was very happy to see her and fussed all over her. Mike wants to give her TLC for a few days before we bring her to the vet as she is very underweight (4.5 lbs). She was never heavy to begin with and is a small frame cat but still, I can feel her gauntness. The people who found her live a block away -- pretty far for her to travel as they are one street over and at the opposite end of the block.

Many thanks for everyone's prayers and good vibrations.

14. What a relief, I was wondering after last weekend if you had any leads
I'm so happy Gossamer is finally home with her loving family. Hopefully she won't want to sneak outside again. I'm sure she felt confused and lost. Give her and head  for me.

And here's a regular  from me.

for poor Gossamer to be back home again. Thank you for the happy update! :grouphug: to Gossamer, Mardigras and their people...

Did the vet who identified her treat her at all? I'd be very concerned about dehydration....

20. She is eating and drinking and using the litterbox
her meow isn't totally back yet. She rests alot and jumps in our laps for cuddles but her feet are still sore. Mardi has stopped yowling all night, it is quiet and all the people in the house are getting sleep again lol. My alarm actually wakes me now..
