Does anybody see the similarity? Could this be a case of reincarnation?

Could the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt have chosen to be born to a future First Lady? Remember when Hillary said she always thought of Eleanor as her role model. Could the spirit of Eleanor been inspiring her through Chelsea? It is said that some people are reincarnated to finish something they didn't achieve in a former life. Could it be that Eleanor/Chelsea will aspire to run for President, a thing Eleanor couldn't do in her era? Women had only got the vote in her lifetime. It is also said that people come back looking similar to what they looked like in a former life. The similarities in expression are stunning.

How tall is Chelsea? Eleanor was a tall woman.

2. 5 feet 9 1/2 inches according to Wiki answers which is pretty tall in my book.

Of course I'm 5'2" so that seems really tall to me. Eleanor was almost 6 feet tall.

Hillary is not very tall. I have seen Hillary and Chelsea standing together and don't remember Chelsea looking that much taller than Hillary. I wonder if the Wiki info is accurate.
If it is accurate, that would also point to Chelsea being the reincarnation of Eleanor. I guess we'll have to wait and see if Chelsea enters politics.

4. I am sorry, I keep looking and looking and see no similarities

I see no resemblance whatsoever. Just my two cents on the appearance. I have no idea what Chelsea's personality is and if it is similar to Eleanor Roosevelt's.

11. That type of work probably wouldn't have been available to a women when

Eleanor was Chelsea's age. Also, the hedge fund she works for is one that contributes to Democratic causes and candidates. Perhaps, she wants to experience that side of life subconsciously since it wasn't available to her in a previous life. Just MHO. Also, Eleanor came from wealth and privilege as well. She did do social work and backed unions and workers causes. I think Chelsea will probably bend in that direction as she matures.

Chelsea could have used her family name and position in the world to further unions, workers causes or gasp! the under or un-insured in this healthcare mess. Instead, she chooses the hedge fund.

I don't think she is an Eleanor incarnate. I think she is an average girl (albeit very smart) given amazing opportunities with to very intelligent parents who wants to make some money. Nothing wrong with making money, but don't make her out to be some future political trailblazer/champion of the poor either.

though, and will let you know if am successful...the resemblances, imho were amazing...have always felt that their is a strong reincarnation possibility between FDR and Bill, and Mrs. Roosevelt and Chelsea...what struck me Most deeply in the photo (black and white) was that their assistant-possibly secretary, (not sure, but prominently in the photo next to them) was unmistakably the exact image of Hillary as she looks today!!

Agreeing, this is a most intriguing topic...certainly Hillary felt close to Eleanor- wanting to contact her spirit during the Clinton admin. Imho, Pres. Bill Clinton personifies, more than any pres. since FDR, that larger than life, Leonine, positive spirit that could galvanize and uplift a very depressed country...Pres. Obama has that Leonine soul panache. Feel Hillary was in FDR's and Eleanor's admin. in a staff capacity (not Lucy Mercer) ...and that they three, in particular, came back together, continuing w/ their special political gifts.

16. Personally I see no resemblance

between the two, and for what my opinion is worth, it doesn't seem to make sense that Eleanor Roosevelt would have come back this soon, and it's hard to see that she would have had a connection to Bill and Hillary, as ER, given when those two were born.

Obama in those terms since the primaries. We're big buffs of ancient African history. Obama to us has such a keen sense of government and clear focus that it was fun for us to imagine that since the ancient Egyptians went through basically every form of government before settling on the Pharonic system, that Obama could have all that knowledge stored in his being.
So it was really cool to see him pointing to a guy who he looks like, and unbeknown to him, would more than likely govern in the same way. Fun stuff. Thanks!

It was hilarious--the way Obama said, "Hey, that guy looks like me--look at those ears!" He said it so matter-of-factly and my husband and I both just burst out laughing.

26. I see a hint of guardedness in Chelsea's photo that I don't see in Eleanor's, but

age would have alot to do with that. At Eleanor's age, even reaching her thirties, Chelsea might feel more confident and less disrupted by leering or prying or critical stares from men, the public, etc.

They both have very lovely and genuine smiles. They both look like happy, honest ladies.

28. It could be because Eleanor's picture was a family portrait taken

probably at home or in a studio. Chelsea's picture, while lovely, was taken by a news photographer. Perhaps that's what the guardedness is about. I couldn't find any family type photos of her.
