a new guardian spirit and a wierd, wierd night...

The other day I read that a zoo in Boston may have to close and euthanize up to 20% of their animals. I freaked out and started to descend into that awful, agonizing helpless place...the same place that led me to adopt Luna. But this time, as I was wrestling with my upset, I heard very loud and clear, "They Will Not Suffer." And let go of it....it's out of my hands. There is nothing I can do. But it was a different voice than my former guardian spirit. I knew his voice quite well, and it was someone very powerful I knew in real life. But this voice, I didn't recognize. Very strange.

Last night, for the first time in a couple weeks, I consulted my angel oracle. I drew the archangel Michael of dreams and the unconscious, the angel of transformation and 'just surrender.'

And then I woke up at 11:30, just an hour or so after falling asleep. I think I had to steal my pillow back from Luna. When I laid back down, my entire body was vibrating, really fast. And intense sinus pressure again. I felt it vibrating for hours. Couldn't fall back to sleep. It finally stopped when I got up, made some tea and got online. Is this part of the shift? Is this the vibration that everyone is always writing about? We're in the eclipse sandwich, right?

1. I'm wide awake also....

very unusual for me to not be able to get to sleep....

I was feeling a bit buzzy and strange...headachey, which is also unusual.
My heart was racing for a while, better now, but not sleepy.

2. Vibrations

I'm glad your guardians told you the animals will not suffer. As for surrendering, how do you tell the difference between surrendering and being too damn tired to fight anymore? (Guess where I am?)

I'd like to hear more about your and other' experience with vibrations. I had a brief experience with it about a week ago. I almost freaked and wanted to throw out my cell phone, laptop, and anything else that could logically be causing the vibrations. I resisted the urge back then but still wonder what the hell that was about.

4. in one case, you're not tired...you just willingly let it go

For example, when I adopted Luna, I surrendered it to the universe. I could only rescue 1 of 8 who's time is up. How do you choose who will live and who will die? I intellectually picked the puppy that I felt Jake would best take to, since he wasn't going to get the meet the new family member -- a cream/yellow female because so many of his best friends have been yellow and golden girls. And when I couldn't reach the pound or the rescuers, or whoever, I just gave up and let it go. And then they would get back to me. And then everything fell into place and Luna arrived...and HE was cream and BROWN and BLACK not the CREAM & YELLOW SHE I had "picked." But Jake and he are the best of friends, and THAT was my real priority.

In the case where you're just too tired, you're just too tired. Sometimes we surrender that way, too. :D

3. Wow.

That's fascinating, NL. Very cool on all accounts.

Now that you mention it, I HAVE experienced my entire body vibrating for a while--it was several weeks ago. I don't know why I didn't equate it with all the cosmic goings-on. D'oh! :smackhead: (We really need an official smiley of that--I would use it plenty! :D)

I woke up with a jolt in the middle of the night last night, around 2:45; Mr. MG's beeper went off (I can't believe his workplace still makes them use pagers for some things). I rolled over to poke him, as I usually hear it before he does, but he wasn't in bed. I found him sleeping on the couch because, apparently, I had passed out before my head hit the pillow and I was snoring forcefully enough to suck the paint off the walls. Was it the deep sleep? or was it because I had been inhaling high-gloss enamel paint yesterday while I gave the soon-to-be bathroom door two coats of shiny white? Dunno.

Still didn't sleep after that--brain working overtime on stuff. Finally drifted off around 5:30.

Anyway, point is that I do believe we are having one hell of a ride right about now. Being in the eclipse sandwich makes me feel like we're traveling through a birth canal. (Does that mean we're going to come shooting out the other end pretty soon, wailing our heads off in indignation?)

I have been talking to the Archangels Gabriel and Michael lately, in an effort to learn to give it all up and let them handle it. They have been VERY responsive, if I'm reading their signs right. You've reminded me--I have the angel oracle cards (sent to me unbidden by Doreen's publisher when I asked for a couple of books on angels before I interviewed her for the story on angels I just did). I tried them once or twice, but I didn't feel comfortable with them, and I put them away. Maybe I should try them again...

5. well I finally fell asleep at around 6:30 am

after Jake started panting onto my back and I realized I was cold. I turned on the electric blanket -- it's very wierd up here. We can start out with a hot, top o'the sheets night and end up under a cranked electric blanket in mid-July!

And I had a dream that I was outside a Dunkin' Donuts and a young girl was in a car in the street waiting for an elderly woman inside. I waved and called out to her to go on ahead. We were laughing, like it was a joke. And then the old woman came outside and was furious with me, and scared. "Why did you send my daughter away?! She was taking me home!!!" I apologized profusely and told her, "She's just teasing you, she'll be right back. And if she doesn't come back I'll give you a ride." And then her daughter came back, and she burst into a big smile at the joke. And I woke up.

I'm not quite sure what to make of that one...

6. When I read the story I was very concerned too!

My daughter and her DH are planning on taking Aidan to that zoo this Aug. when they vacation in Boston. Take heart all of you animal lovers out there. This was just stupid rhetoric from someone at the zoo, aimed at MA. Gov. Deval Patrick because he had to cut their budget quite substantially this year. No real intention to euthanize any animals. I was very relieved to hear this........whew, huh? As to the vibrations? Naw, not me, just weird sleep patterns lately. I'm a night owl, and am sometimes up 'til 2 AM, so I sleep as long as I feel like. I get my best sleep in the morning. So when I was awake at 7 AM one morning a few days ago, for some ungodly reason, I went on facebook to see the latest news from my granddaughter and her new husband honeymooning at Disney in Fla.
While I was online I get a call from my daughter wanting to know what was wrong? Why was I UP SO EARLY????? lol Gotta love facebook....no secrets! JA
