progressed aspect, a simplistically dualistic approach is not at all really productive or growth inducing.
There are advantages and challenges involved in *all* of these influences.
To approach aspects as if "trines & sextiles = good, oppositions & squares = ba-a-a-d" is a tremendously superficial approach to astrology, especially when in reality, trines & sextiles can indeed portend ease, but they can also produce laziness and complacency as well. Similarly, just as oppositions & squares can produce frustrations, conflicts, and present seemingly onerous obstacles they can also bring great opportunities for resolutions.
I used to often type, "The first law of energetics is that conflict can not occur in the absense of mutually shared (be it karmic or current) culpability."
Having done a "brazilian" readings over the years, I've often seen people who have natal charts riddled with squares and oppositions be real movers and shakers and accomplish droves, whereas those with predominantly alledged harmonious aspects can sometimes be more like Ferdinand the Bull.
Bottom line is that some rally in the face of adversity while others cave entirely.
Those with a great deal of inner harmony can often exude great vibes and inspire others.
What manifests is predicated not just by planetary influence but also how we respond to them.
We are blessed with free will here.
To try to stay centered and not over react is always advisable.
Though retreat is some times recommended, to hide when it's fear based instead of a purly introspective impulse, the ceiling may just collapse or as I used to joke with clients, "a Greyhound bus could crash into your living room." I made that joke for years until I finally had a client who actually had experienced a Greyhound bus crashing through her living room. Her jaw dropped when I made that particular joke so I stopped making that joke for a long time.
The universe has an increasingly less subtle way of getting our full attention is all.
Hope you had an enlightening day yesterday.
best.
