A minor rant, and random thoughts...
I bought Madden 07, and NCAA Football 07...and I only got two words to say...........

They SUCK!

My word...what a waste. The kicking game is backwards, and to me it seems gameplay is slower, than the 06 versions....I'm so upset about EA Games...I HATE it when they mess with game play...I wish they would just improve what they got, and put in new angles/aspects of game play. I think the Superstar mode was awesome, but EA Games hasn't done anything groundbreaking since putting that aspect into their games(Madden).

On a lighter note...I've been getting back into playing video games bigtime lately. I'm almost done beating Fight Night 04, its a decent game, and a bit hard to understand/use at first, but fighting games are my forte. I also picked up Cabela's Big Hunt/Fishing Alaska game....:D My hometown is featured in the game, I'm so excited! :D I'm also very close to beating Justice League Heroes...its not a bad game, not what I expected though. The gameplay for that is similiar to Dark Alliances(baldur's gate?) from forgotten realms.....

1. Exclusivity deals killed American football video games
I liked Madden 07 okay, but it's obvious to me EA isn't too worried about innovation now that they have the sole rights to make NFL and NCAA football games. But there's only one feature I really want: the ability to put my own face in the game for create-a-player.

putting your own face on your create player....:D

Btw, I just beat fight night 04 the other day, and I just buried the guy, I borrowed the game from...he has had it for over two years, and I kicked his ass.....:D

:hi:

4. Try the real Baldur's gate on you PC (1 or 2)
The closest thing I've ever playe to video game rpg perfection. Dark alliance makes me weep it's so poor in comparison.

5. I liked Dark Alliance...
I'm not much of a PC gamer..it seems everything is online stuff, where you got to pay to play your game, like WOW, and things of that nature. I went to the Play Station, for the sole purpose of games, while using my PC for work/music/internet/whatever...

And to boot, I suck at using the keyboard in RPG type games...the last one I bought for the PC was Diablo, and I hated the game play, and I hated the online play even worse....
