here's one way to meet recruiting goals-lower the goals
December Monthly. All services met or exceeded recruiting goals for the month of December (below) and have surpassed goals for fiscal 2008 to date.

December 2007 Accessions Goal Percent
Army 789 750 105
Navy 1,891 1,891 100
Marine Corps 1,992 1,726 115
Air Force 1,772 1,772 100



The Department of Defense announced today its recruiting and retention statistics for the Active and Reserve components for the month of July.

Active Duty Enlisted Recruiting.

Monthly. All four Services met or exceeded recruiting goals for July.

Army 9,972 9,750 102
Navy 4,173 4,173 100
Marine Corps 4,793 4,613 104
Air Force 2,078 2,078 100

1. Seriously, do you not know why the numbers are lower
in December than in July every year?
