Pilots in the Air Force Reserve are eligible for bonus worth $25,000 to $15,000.

The fiscal 2008 “aviator continuation pay” program covers full-time Reserve pilots with a minimum of 10 years of pilot aviation service, according to a Reserve Command statement.

Two types of contracts are offered this year.

Pilots signing up for the their first ACP bonus who have 16 years of service or less are eligible for an annual bonus of $25,000 if they extend their service for four years.

Pilots with more than 16 years of service can sign up for two or three-year contracts worth $15,000 annually. Pilots who have reached their 23rd year of service cannot renew their contract. Also ineligible for the bonus are general officers.
