Mountain Home airman dies in road crash

BURNS JUNCTION, Ore. — A 21-year-old airman has been killed in a vehicle accident in eastern Oregon.

The Oregon State Police say Eugene Ardissono was on his way Tuesday from his home in Fremont, Calif., to the Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho.

The police said his pickup rolled multiple times on U.S. 95 about 39 miles north of the Oregon-Nevada border. He was wearing a seat belt.
