DOTHAN, Ala. — A bus carrying Marine reservists from Alabama and Florida crashed Sunday morning at Fort Rucker. The Fort Rucker public affairs office said in a statement, 12 Marines remain hospitalized, including four with life-threatening injuries. The Army said the injured Marines were transported to hospitals in Dothan, Enterprise and Elba. 11 passengers were treated and released.

The Army said the bus crashed at about 9:20 a.m. near Alabama Highway 27.

The Marines are members of E Company, an anti-terrorism battalion, based at Marine Corps Reserve Centers in Bessemer and Tallahassee, Fla.
