Southeastern Veterans Center to Receive Generous Donation From AFSCME

Residents of the Southeastern Veterans Center will receive donations from AFSCME District Council 88 at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, at the Southeastern Veterans Center, One Veterans Drive, Spring City, during a formal presentation.

As part of a statewide effort led by AFSCME's state headquarters in Harrisburg, called "Operation Veterans Hope," District Council 88 has raised funds and generously purchased sweat suits for residents, as well as a large screen television and several Nintendo Wii game consoles, which will be used in the activity units located throughout the home.
