Soldier arrested for allegedly stalking wife

OMAHA, Neb. — A soldier returning from service in Korea was arrested at the Omaha airport for alleged death threats against his wife.

Authorities say Jason Talamantes, 20, of Bellevue was taken into custody Friday on outstanding warrants for stalking and intimidation by phone.

He’s accused of asking his aunt to obtain a semiautomatic rifle and have someone kill his wife.
