About 100 soldiers from the 66th Military Police Company are expected to return today to Fort Lewis, Wash., after a 15-month tour in Afghanistan.

Fifty more soldiers from the company will return later this month, completing the unit’s redeployment.

The soldiers deployed in January 2007. While in Afghanistan, they trained the Afghan police and provided security and law enforcement support to U.S. and coalition forces in theater.
