SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. — A company of soldiers from the Army’s Fort Huachuca has left for a deployment to Iraq that’s expected to last 15 months.

More than 100 members of the 40th Signal Battalion’s Bravo Company boarded a charter flight headed to Kuwait on Tuesday.

The unit will spend time training in Kuwait before heading into Iraq. They’ll work to maintain and operate Internet and satellite networks for troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Other units of the 40th Battalion shipped out for the war zone in December.
