Death at Lejeune under investigation

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — The death of a private at Camp Lejeune, N.C., is under investigation. Pvt. Bradley A. Foust, 18, died Saturday, according to base spokesman 1st Lt. Craig Thomas. Foust, of Midlothian, Va., was assigned to Marine Combat Training Battalion, School of Infantry-East. He joined the Corps on Jan. 29.

Information Foust’s family provided for his obituary stated the Marine died during training, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

No further information is being released pending the investigation, Thomas said.

A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. Thursday in Chesterfield, Va., the Times-Dispatch said.
