Navy identifies man found dead at Pearl Harbor

HONOLULU — The Navy has identified a man found dead at Pearl Harbor this week as a civilian employee of the Defense Intelligence Agency.

A Navy news release says 48-year-old Joseph Allen was found dead in a playground near Pearl Harbor’s Makalapa housing area at 8 a.m. Sunday.

The cause of death hasn’t been confirmed. The Navy says no foul play is suspected.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service is investigating the death.
