WILMINGTON, N.C. — Two Fort Bragg soldiers have pleaded guilty to federal attempted bank robbery charges for trying to rob a North Carolina bank the day after Thanksgiving.

Authorities said Prielinso Conner of Fayetteville and Louis Rodriguez of Fort Bragg entered guilty pleas to several charges this week, including aiding and abetting the use of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.

Federal court documents show Conner, Rodriguez, fellow soldier Justin Roberson and Conner’s wife, Tajia Conner, planned to rob a Fayetteville bank last year on the busy shopping day. Roberson and Tajia Conner will be arraigned in April.

The indictment accused the group of stealing a shotgun and ammunition from a car, and said Fayetteville police found masks, gloves and changes of clothing.
