The Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is set to become the home for depot-level repairs of the service’s growing fleet of remote-controlled aircraft.

Utah’s congressional delegation said Wednesday that the Air Force had chosen Ogden as the depot to handle major repairs and upgrades of MQ-1 Predators and MQ-9 Reapers. The base already hosts depot work on A-10s, F-16s and a wide range of aircraft components.

Work on the Predator will include inspecting and repairing the airframe, ground data terminal, primary satellite link, ground control station and multi-spectral targeting system.

For the Reaper, repairs to the airframe, command-and-control communications gear and landing gear will be carried out at Ogden.
