Omaha Woman Killed Serving In Iraq
113th female casualty of the WAR
War Casualty was Due Home Thursday

OMAHA, Neb. -- An Omaha woman due home from Iraq on Thursday was killed in an attack on a Baghdad base on Thursday.
The military said that insurgents fired rockets on Camp Victory in Baghdad from a nearby abandoned school.
Two coalition members were killed in the attack on the U.S. base and another 40 were wounded. Omaha native Lillian Clamens, 35, was killed, her family told KETV NewsWatch 7 on Friday...

...The family said Clamens was an Omaha Central High School graduate who has served in the Army Reserve for 17 years. She lives in Homestead, Fla., with her husband and three children.
Her husband said the body is in New Jersey on its way to Homestead.
Clamens was a full-time postal worker.

2. It seems like every one has gut-wrenching details
"Raymond Clamens, 33, said his wife sent him a text-message Monday, telling him she had made it safely to Baghdad from Talil, where she was with the 1st Postal Platoon, 834th Adjutant General Company, Miami. They were to arrive at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin this weekend. She was expected home in Homestead on Wednesday or Thursday.

He messaged her back "OK" and went back to making preparations for her homecoming, including getting ingredients for her favorite meals."

After that text message he did not hear from her for a period, and then got the news.
