He sounds a bit sheepish about it, but Joe Klein has come up with the same theory we have and is running it by some Dem leaders! Thank you Joe for reaching out to people we don't have direct contact with! Now we need to build a bridge to Joe.

1. WOW!!

Now we're starting to bridge over into the MSM (I guess Time would fit into that category). And, Klein is a regular talking head on the Sunday shows and with Olberman and others. Wonder if he'll get questions about this as he shows up on some of those shows. As he says, the scenario has to develop with some (perhaps) improbable conditions; but, as he says, this has been a more than unusual primary season to this point, so why not some more unusuality.

Great find, Andrea. I've got to believe this article might have tickled some folks over on the Primaries thread, but I don't have time right now to check over there. If anyone sees it there, please cross post so I can maybe do some more "mining" of Goreniacs to our cause.

5. I have to get out of there

I have work to do! And I'm starving! Some of them are turning around and getting more reasonable about it now. I love it when my tenacity and insistence on rationality have that effect!

I was just eager to get it up because it had just been put up at Time - per Google it was one hour old when I found it.

sort of. You think I'm going over there. Yikes!! You are tenancious, I'll say that. My hide isn't that thick; I would have turned tail after the first couple of nasty cracks. And no, I have no idea what a SJC is. Maybe you want to PM him and ask.

It is much more lovely over here in Gore land. I'll be off again for a while, but later today I'll do some "mining" on the earlier thread that talked about Gore - and was quite a bit more peaceable. I don't think there's much to mine from the Klein thread over at Primaries.

18. I was just at the Yahoo site

where's there a politics story about Hillary fudging all sort of things. But, along the side, as a teaser/ad, was a link to the Gore column by Joe Klein. So, that's going to drum up a bit more interest and an easier place for all the Yahoo users to find the story.
