31. My daughter is checking her schedule to see if she can work around

some mid-terms. I was thinking about driving up instead of flying (you know, ice on the wings and all that), but we may end up flying just to save time and money.
When were you planning on arriving in Boston? How long were you going to stay. I was thinking about just getting a flight on Monday morning (maybe Sunday, if it is cheaper) and leaving on Tuesday. Boston in December doesn't strike me as really good to tour in.
I wouldn't mind sharing a room. Alicia and I could double up in a double bed.

15. We're taking an early morning train on Sunday (7am)

from Penn station that gets in between 11am -12am to the BackBay station. With AAA its slightly under a $100 roundtrip. (We're leaving around 6 am Tuesday so my husband can go to work (in NYC).

We're also booking the hotel Tay Tay gave info on.

8. Just to be sure, I checked the date last year's invite from THK went out

and it was sent via e-mail on 10/24/05. So this is not late. We are so far ahead of the game on this it's amazing. We have the Birthday Card already winging it's way across the country. We have flights and hotel reservations starting to come in and the start of a fun time.

I just wanted to give people a yardstick to measure our progress by. At this time last year, we had no idear there would be a B-Day Party. So, we are ahead of the game, and by a lot!

I put down "1 adult" on my room but it supposedly has two double beds, so I assume I can change it to double with no hassle.

We didn't even know this was happening as an event last year until 10/24/05. We have time. We would love to have you, if it works out. But we all have responsibilities and other obligations and that is an expensive time of the year for a lot of us. No guilt, no worries. It would just mean that we would have to try harder to put up IM's, threads here at this forum, perhaps a conference call and so forth in order to make sure people here feel connected to that event.

I have room for one more in my room. (Actually, I think ProSense is in with me, and that leaves a pull-out couch. Or I can take that and give up the bed, it matters not. However, in a pinch, we can double up in the beds. The room is actually booked for five people, cuz I wanted some spare room just in case.
