Latest attack line on Kerry

The right wing blogs are all over another distortion of a Kerry statement. Just so Kerry supporters will be prepared if confronted with these claims I'll include a link to one of the sites:

worried about the weapons that the NYTimes said yesterday were lost in Iraq and may be in use to actually kill or wound our troops in Iraq?

Any RWers worried about this outrage and abomination? They are worried about a quote taken out of context. What about worrying about the sheer incompetency and arrogance of allowing these weapons to get into the hands of the factions in Iraq? Any notice on what the RWers would say to the parents, family, friends of any of our kids killed or wounded because of this incompetence?

5. He's right...

Those who are currently attending college are not fighting in Iraq.

If they flunked out, or dropped out, the job market for them is so bad that they might consider joining the military to get by.

It's not an offensive statement. It's referring to a well known path that many young people take, but a path that today would be very dangerous to their physical and mental health.
