There may have been a few who maybe only post on The Dem Daily and jk.com, but I'd say you would know most of us. And, I swear, we chatter in person just as much as we do here. Just wanted to emphasize again how important those cards were to Senator Kerry -- I can't remember if you were able to sign it this year, but if I recall, I think Tay said she told him last year that you had created a prayer forum for him when he went to Iraq, so you are already a known quantity. By the way, he's leaving today for Iraq. A few prayers in addition to Storyteller's card in his suit pocket may be a good idea. I think my prayers and thoughts will be more about him being able to achieve some diplomatic progress, as the situation in the Middle East is so grave. I'm very confident in our U.S. military that he will be safe in Iraq.

I don't ask the Goddess for much. But I did ask Her very nicely if she would keep our guy safe and sound and bring him back home in one piece. We need him too much right here and right now to have to replace him with a player to be named later.
