McAwful just went batshit on illegal immigrants while Clinton double waffles on IWR vote
This is just unbelieveable -- this guy doesn't even sound like a Democrat:

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2007/2/6/20815/70687

McAuliffe:

We've got to shut these borders down. These people shouldn't be coming in this country. We need to enforce our border protections. We have to do something for the people who have been here for years and have paid taxes -- you know, we're for the people who have been in this country and paying taxes and raising their family. But for the people who have not been here, who have been here illegally and have taken advantage of the situation, we need to have a plan to get them back to the countries they came from, and more important, which is the first thing John talks about, we have gotta shut these borders down. I couldn't agree more.

... I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican, we all agree you've gotta shut the borders down. People who are coming into this nation taking our jobs.

In the same story, look at this about Hillary talking about the IWR vote:

The biggest news, however, is that Hillary Clinton has just stated, flat-out, that she does not regret her war vote. At the same time, she is still trying to campaign as though she is against the war, claiming that she wouldn't have started it, and that she would end it. Basically, it is the same thing we saw from Lieberman during the general election against Lamont: an absolute hawk trying to appear anti-war in order to pick up Democratic votes.

Forget the history, there is NO WAY IN HELL I can vote for somebody who won't acknowledge a basic mistake -- failing to take responsibility and own up to mistakes is a basic integrity issue for me on who I want in the WH. This is just terrible.

2. Triangulating, again, for a country they see conservative.
Rather than building upon a country willing to change, and its self-describing.

I am tired of complaining amongst ourselves about the leadership of our party sidelining our guy for this, and because he isn't Clinton. Which, to me, is no nirvana. Clinton was also an easier win.

Our Senate debates now how the GOP don't want to vote on the escalation, caught between supporting Bush or expressing their constituencies concerns. Well, our Dems aren't so heroic, and demonstrating to the press it's okay to bash Kerry, just to promote the current crop of contenders. Denying strong leadership millions voted for, strong on Iraq and everything else. someone who would cause major agitata over an Iraq discssion.

Seriously, rather than venting here, what do we do? Do we want to split up LTE placements, identify those most willing or necessary. Organize, beyond going ballistic over terrible blog items just meant to anger us. I'm frustrated, which I need to get past, but also need to get more in control of solutions. How do well sell setadeadline.

3. Good questions and I spoke with GV about that the other day.
setadeadline.com is still developing. I am confident a direction will soon be evident. After all, it is only two weeks old.

5. He likes and worships money -any way he can get it. He sell his children out for money.
I consider him a self-serving, no class, low life.

6. I agree, but it doesn't explain why he can't
1. win elections

2. accept that there are social progressives in this country, and a lot of them.
