You know what? The ignore feature at DU is underused.

I have started to use it.

I highly recommend it to everyone. It's like a nice cool shower after a hot day.

1. It's really getting ugly

out there. How half of the posts are even allowed to stay , boggles my mind.

2. Heh, I have about 38 on my list now.

Every now and then I take one off and see if they are still offensive. Usually they are, and go back on ignore shortly thereafter.

I check for tombstones occasionally. Alas, most of the ones I have on ignore are well-aged and are not likely to be tombstoned anytime soon. More's the pity.


Edit to add: if the number seems high, let's just say it went up drastically in recent months, out of medical necessity.

3. It's not underused by me. I have 260+ members on Ignore.

I'll probably break 300 by the end of primary season.

5. I've got about 25 right now (up to 0 a few weeks ago), and it is increasing by the hour.
