Obama contest, don’t be surprised to find Kerry on Obama’s short list for vice president (yes, along with Sebelius, Napolitano, and others) or maybe even tapped for that role. In addition to being a Vietnam veteran and national security counterpoint to McCain - whose skin he could likely get under since they’re old friends, too - remember that Kerry ran and won as Lieutenant Governor with Governor Mike Dukakis in Massachusetts in 1982, so he’s vetted in another aspect that others are not: His ability to play second fiddle without stepping on the top of the ticket, both on the campaign trail and once in office...
