stand it anymore, but I ventured there earlier today and was amazed how somebody who does not matter anymore can raise such emotion in one interview.

it's insane. Also sad, dispiriting, vitriolic, disappointing, etc., etc., etc. The Kerry reaction just blows my mind. IMHO 95% of DU is simply nuts nowadays.

7. Honestly, I sort of don't like DU anymore...

Except for you guys, and the Obama group (which, eerily, is almost the same group of people...) and the Progressive Christian group. Everyone else is so mean-spirited, it depresses me. I wouldn't have donated again except that I wanted to be able to participate in those specific groups. It makes me sad because DU was the first place I found when I switched parties, and most everyone seemed really nice. Now it's super vicious and the quality of real discussion has taken a nose-dive, at least in the larger forums.

But you guys still rock. I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Needed some time off to focus on work and family stuff. But I started peeking back in the last couple of weeks, and realized how much I've missed you all. :)
