The Return of "Committee Hearings" postings. Yeah!!!!!!!!!
I have been remiss in doing this in recent weeks. I'm sorry. I do seriously think I missed a fisheries hearing. Deep, long, lasting, sad and untenable sigh!

Anyway, here in one list are the Committee hearings for Sen. Kerry for this week. (Possible hearings. They overlap, after all, and one person can only be in one place at a time. Even the good Senator.)

Commerce Committee:

One Year to the DTV Transition: Consumers, Broadcasters, and Converter Boxes

Full Committee

Thursday, February 14, 2008

The Committee will examine U.S. readiness for the nationwide transition from analog television broadcasting to digital television (DTV) broadcasting. With the February 17, 2009 transition date now just one year away, the hearing will focus on consumer awareness, the role of broadcasters and the Federal Communications Commission, and the status of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration converter box program.

Defends the fact that we are spending all this money, putting all those people there at great cost to them and their families, and their Parliament might dissolve the govt without getting anything done.

Yeah, glad the Surge is working. We Surge, the Iraqi pols do nothing.

6. Wasn't that precisely what Kerry predicted in about August 2006
when he said that the violence may decrease with all the soldiers but nothing political would happen?
