I still am in my "I am confused about Iraq" stage, and this back and forth simply illustrated why I remain confused. Kerry & Petraeus & Crocker were disagreeing, yet I could see all of their points at a detail level. Obviously, in a big picture way, I agree with Kerry (and Obama), but when you get into the nitty gritty details, well, it leads to confusion ....

One point Kerry got across which was crystal clear was how we didn't get that political reconciliation with 160K troops -- how are we going to with 140K?

I caught the video and then just happened to tune into C-Span.

Thanks for posting the video. And, I think Kerry is right to address the larger concerns regarding this war and the security of the US.
