The whole evening was off the charts. I didn't watch him on MSNBC, I just can't watch that crap anymore. How'd he do?

6. Did you catch the little interview with David Gregory?

Both of them said something about Teddy, and how Obama's campaign touches on everything Ted's worked his whole life for. Gregory asked JK about how it feels to be back here four years later--but he sidestepped the personal stuff and talked about how great it will be to have President Obama and get something done in Washington.

(I was watching C-span all evening, but when I saw JK in camera range with Gregory, I quick changed it to MSNBC, and sure enough they were interviewed.)

12. Here's what I remember - from last night

Kerry first said that he was speechless over Kennedy's moving appearance. That it took more courage and strength than people knew for Kennedy to do it. THK was asked why Kennedy did - I don't remember exactly what she said but it was about Obama fighting for the same thing. Gregory asked Kerry about how it felt after 2004 - Kerry spoke of working as hard as he could for Obama because he was the right man for now. (Caveat - this is right in terms of tone, but likely very inaccurate.)

Both Kerrys looked and sounded great. There were several great Kerry smiles.

My son is in Denver as president of the Massachusetts College Dems. He just called to give me a little on the goings on (haven't talked to him since Friday)

Earlier tonight, my son volunteered to assist at a John Kerry/Theresa Heinz thank you dinner at a Denver restaurant. He met the two of them and introduced himself as President of their Dems in Mass. They thanked him immensely for his service. Oh, Chevy Chase was there. Though he didn't formally meet him.
