12. And he is still rail thin
I swear, I am going to start sending that man sandwiches. How dare he be as thin today as he was 15 years ago. (Okay, I'm jealous.)

3. The big Boston one is Sunday
http://wb56.trb.com/community/news/stv-stpatsbreakfast-story.htmlstory

Senator Kerry is not listed as a Speaker. But he will either make a surprise appearance or phone in. Should be fun. You might be able to stream this event at the above website or at http://www.boston.com/news/necn/

Will let you know what happens, when it happens.

8. Is it work or other problems?
You're on the Hill, right? Can't someone escort you over to the Phoenix Park Hotel near Union Station? There are at least two pubs right there. Or have they chained you to your desk?

Me, I'm going out for Greek food and wine with an Arab-American co-worker. Is this a great country or what?

6. Thanks, and you too!
Largely Irish on my dad's side.

The Chicago River is bright Kelly green, as always. Kinda gross, but it's tradition.

7. I was shocked how green they manage to make it
Edited on Thu Mar-17-05 06:45 PM by karynnj
We stayed at my sister's place in Chicago last year over St Patrick's day so my daughter could see a couple universities. My family is from the Indiana suburbs of Chicago, but I'd never gone to Chicago over St Patrick's day.
