Who will win Massachusetts in 2008?
If Mitt Romney wins the GOP nomination and John Kerry wins the Democratic nomination, who will win Massachusetts?

1. Hasn't Mitt The Shit fallen out of favor?
He recently abandoned the state and has no intention of re-running in 2006 for Governor.

2. I dont think there is a question here.
Romney's popularity is very low and MA is a blue state.

Kerry, of course.

3. Oh that would be my dream match-up
I would love, love, love to have two north easterners as the 2008 Presidential candidates. (Of course we actually had that last time but one was really good at playing make believe.) I would love to watch the heads of my fellow Southerners explode as they attempted to pray to a god who has abandoned them and left them with no choice but to either A.) ignore their patriotic duty and not vote or B.) vote for someone who doesn't talk like they do. It would be delightful.

(The next best thing would be watching your rank-and-file Southerner choose between Hillary Clinton and Condi Rice - that would be equally amusing.)

Of course the danger in either of those scenarios is that Diebold will rule the day, but that will ever more be a danger I'm afraid.

To answer your question, Kerry.

4. Mittens would go down in flames
One of the main reasons he's not running for reelection is that he'd almost certainly lose. And that would not look good on his resume. Kerry would win MA in a landslide.

5. That would be the funniest thing ever.
Ever.

CNN blurb, Sept 29th, 2008: Researchers have noticed that there is no one currently in the state of Massachusetts. Apparently everyone in the Commonwealth has decided to settle a political score with everyone else in the Commonwealth and have gone, 'Out of State' to Florida, Ohio, Wisconsin and Colorado to duke it out over the all-Massachusetts Presidential election. One rally for Mitt Romney in Cincinnatti erupted into total chaos after a Kerry suporter shouted, 'Mitt Romney has fake hair, and he sucks real bad."

Bystanders were completely perplexed over what had just happened. "We couldn't understand a word these people were saying. They spoke really, really fast and in some foreign langauge that I had never heard before. I've was scared for my life." Police were forced to pipe in broadcasts of the Red Sox/Yankees game in order to get the Massachusetts expatriates to stop the riot and stand still long enough to be taken into custody.

Funniest thing that could ever happen.

6. LOL That's funny
So the contest would be over hair, height, looks and charm? We're looking at a landslide. Also Romney looks like his hair has receded where Kerry's hair looks model perfect. (I don't see how anyone could ever have made fun of his hair. Or Teresa's for that matter.)

7. I don't get it either.

No contest between that greasy mop of Romney's and Sen. Kerry's nice clean cut. (Maybe it's that luscious silver color. Just perfect. Romney looks like he dips his head in shoe polish and then heads out the door.)
