The Bushes are coming, the Bushes are coming
Edited on Sun Dec-25-05 11:47 AM by ProSense
Bush's deception heard round the world -- the beginning of a struggle for tyranny against freedom in America

"Some say President Bush's preference for unilateral action reflects 'American exceptionalism.' But I say, what has always made America 'exceptional,' in the history of great powers is that we have not sought conquest or empire when these temptations were within our reach. Our confidence in our own greatness led us to build an international order of mutual respect and cooperation. That's why America emerged from the twentieth century as the unquestioned leader in the world's march towards freedom, as the authors of a global consensus linking our self-interest as a nation to the common interests of all nations. That is the real tradition of American "exceptionalism" the President needs to understand and embrace."

-- Senator John F. Kerry

1. Why is this man not President?
This is the essence of what we loved in America. (Maybe Bush is not self confident enough to act this way.)

2. I watched the 'Camelot' movie (with Connery/Gere) last night...
and thought, the world urgently NEEDS this "old soul" insight and vision of 'equity' and peace. In real-time, that "Arthur" is clearly JK.

I STILL believe it WAS his destiny to be Prez at THIS point in history. How I wish...

3. "WAS his destiny." Have faith.
Yes, he will serve out these four years as our True President without being formally recognized in the way he should be, (except by us) but he'll get his turn. In a way, this scenario may have been for the best, even if it doesn't feel that way. I'd elaborate, but I'm trying to sustain a good mood.
