Bill Clinton's email for Hillary - It's official - Clinton is a slease

I am really really annoyed by the disingenuous letter that Bill sent asking for money for Hillary's 2006 run. She has no real opponent, she has millions of dollars - more than she will spend on the campaign and this was mailed to NJ where Menendez WILL have a real race against Tom Kean Jr. If Clinton cared 2 cents about the party, he would ask NJ to send money to MENENDEZ.

Sentences in the letter:

"She knows how to listen, and she knows how to lead. "
"Throughout her life, she's been listening and leading with her own personal style - a combination of warmth and wisdom." (Did you notice all the warmth?)
"They are organizing a "stop Hillary" movement" "number one target"
"Make no mistake about it. Hillary has been targeted for defeat in 2006 precisely because she has been such a powerful and evective advocate on the most important issues of our time."

(Just a thought, before targeting Hillary wouldn't they get an opponent - Guilliani or Bloomberg, not a Yonkers mayor no one has ever heard of. Did Senator Kerry send out letters in 2002 arguing that he was in a tight race and being targeted? )

areas he claims Hillary led:
-expanding health care to members of the National Guardand Reserves
-ensuring safety of perscription drugs for children
-strengthen CHIP
- increase in minimum wage (wasn't this Kennedy)
- protecting ANWR (Cantwell, Kerry, Lautenberg and Lieberman were the ones I saw on TV)

Specially for Sandasea, who spoke of Hillary's Oregon trip:

So they are down to a mayor, I think from Yonkers, who I've heard nothing about or from. That's why I am furious that Bill Clinton is likely sending these letters to everyone who ever supported him. This is beyound unethical as so many 2006 candidates really need money. (The best interretation is that Hillary, as Madame Bountiful will give some of her 2006 money away.)

The more I see this that more I believe that the Clintonistas DID drag their feet in 2004, because a Kerry/Edwards win would likely end Hillary's chances.

for longer than she's interested. The Senate seat has never been more than a stepping stone to Hillary. I hope the good people of NY realize that. Yes, it's better that she has that seat instead of a repuke. But it's not where she really wants to be.

I'm in NJ - Menendez (or any Democrat that wins the nomination will have a tough fight against Tom Kean Jr. No matter who the Democrat is , they need to get across that no matter how nice his dad was, he will vote to be in the Republican caucus. As I think I read she already has about $14 million, she should not be drying up money all over the country for her "SENATE RACE".

What's odd is this "target" nonsense is the Clinton version of "terra terra terra".

6. This will no endear her to the locals.

I am going to an event for Sen. Kerry on March 11th in NH. He is a guest at a NH event. The money raised stays in NH to help fund local candidates for local races. I think this might be remembered in 2007. Plus, Sen. Kerry is funding a campaign worker for the NH Dems now. I think that will also be remembered.

I will have to look up an article that I recently read that said that the Hillary people were laughing at the Kerry people because they were doing so much on the ground work in small races in Iowa and NH. I wonder who will be laughing two years from now when the local people remember who came in to help them and who came in to take money away and preach at them.

8. Aside from 2008, it is absolutely awful that she is mocking

the 2006 work Kerry is doing. When the Cunningham bill came out, one of the best comments I saw on DKOS was someone saying (paraphrased) " I don't care if he's doing these things to help himself, this is good work." The same holds here.

The phrase that the "clintons take up all the air in the room" seems more apt than ever and it doesn't make them seem classy, a word commonly associated with Kerry.

7. Politics at its sleaziness. Warmth? Yeah, She comes off as real

warm and fuzzy. You are absolutely right,she needs no more money. She has no one running against her. She is expected to win easily. I don't have a link right now, but I know I read that the Republicans just want to dirty her some going into the Presidential elections.They realize they will not win against her in NY.
I am more convinced than ever that Bill Clinton has decided to try and become the back door President. A vote for Hillary is a vote for Bill indirectly because he can't run again and wants to have that attention and some of that power again.
I am hoping that Hillary proves to everyone, during the primaries that just having the most money won't get you elected.

Also, this shows how much they care about the party, it was and still is all about the Clinton's.

but the NYT Hagel article reminded me that Bob Kerrey said that Clinton was "an uncommonly good liar", which I now agree with.
