I found this a little interesting, and disturbing at the same time.
http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/local/articles/0213AZinDC0213.htmlInteresting because it's from Media Matters..
Disturbing because of the last sentence in the 2nd to last paragraph.
But, leave it to Media Matters to investigate Sunday Talk shows.
Maybe we can finally tip the scales back our way a little bit.
As an avid Sunday talk show watcher, this is great news to me.
snips..
McCain most popular Sunday talk-show guest
Feb. 13, 2006 12:00 AM
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the ubiquitous potential 2008 presidential candidate, enjoys special treatment from the Sunday morning television news, asserts a study to be released this week by Media Matters for America, a not-for-profit media-watch group.
The group, whose Web site says is dedicated to analyzing and correcting "conservative misinformation" in the U.S. media, plans to release its study, If It's Sunday, It's Conservative, on Tuesday in Washington, D.C.
.....
More intriguing, perhaps, is that the study shows McCain typically appears alone - without any Democrat or competing viewpoint to help the interviewer challenge him.
