Take care everybody.
I am going to delete my account as my last thread was totally off-the-wall and went against my own belief systems. I don't even know why I posted it, but I think it was a bad reaction to a new med I started which is very stimulating and agitating.
Nonetheless the damage is done. It seems that everytime I have either started or come off a med I have lost another friend. I wonder if it's like that for a lot of people?

Anyway, I am going to ask that my account be deleted as I can't keep up with the flow any more and I can't take the hostile direction the board seems to have taken since the election. I am not blaming the board. As one of the posters in that thread stated, I need psychiatric help and not spending a lot of time getting upset about the state of our un-democracy. I need to take care of myself for awhile.

I wish I had spent more time in this group.

All the best to you.

2. don't be so hard on yourself.
you are trying to get better, and the trouble with tinkering with your brain is that you still have to use it. not like you can sit in a chair, prop it up on a pillow, and put an ice pack on it.
forgiving yourself, and asking others to do the same is a skill that most of us could use more practice at. if there was someone you were particularly rude to, drop them a pm and tell them you were not feeling well. you may just find out that people didn't take it as hard as you think they did.
you're ok. chill for a while.

3. Don't delete it, just take time away.
Who knows, in a month or two, or even further down the road, you may want to come back. Take some time for yourself to regroup and see how you feel. I was gone for almost two years at one point.

Take care.

5. just searched ......honestly i was a bit shocked but then again i shock
easily......dont be silly...holding grudges in cyber space is a bit self defeating....i think this group away from the rest is just what many need.....you are right about the hostility....it does get out of hand at times........just take some time away if you really need it....i think many of us are just terrified of what the future holds considering the las ten years of republicans explosions of evil itself...many are on edge.... hang in there and by the way we can agree to disagree and still remain on civil terms.....after all not everyone can be as perfect as me but i forgive them....

6. Stuff happens when meds get changed out. That's just part of the party pack.

Spending more time in this group might not be a bad idea. See what you think when things settle down a little. :)

7. Thank you all for the responses.
I thought about all of the points brought up in all of your posts and they were very helpful.
I have posted a few times in GD in the past week but my concentration is poor at the moment so I'll be scattered here until something changes.

Thanks again:loveya:
