This is an excellent photo... and it works well in b/w too... but I think your other photo is an excellent b/w photo too. Tough call! If I were you I'd think about if there would be a future contest where either this photo or the original submission could be better used? What does the full color look like of your original? How about this one? They both look great b/w but maybe not as nice in color...

5. She is. She's a VERY mellow kitty. A little skittish when it comes to
fast movement and loud noises, but when she's relaxed, she's VERY relaxed :P
