7. I do that for heat when it gets bitter cold
I think it would costs more then the eggs to do it routinely these days............
I only have about 2 dozen birds.........

4. Thought of your photo yesterday at lunchtime.
I asked my granddaughter what she wanted for lunch, and she started bouncing up and down yelling, "egg, egg, egg!".

Being a 2 1/2 yr old city kid, she thinks they come from the fridge. Not sure if I should 'splain it to her - next time she might run from the room screaming, "No egg, no egg, no egg!".

Really enjoying your close-ups. Thanks for sharing them. :hi:

you stay here and pet sit while I stay at your place and visit the daughter in San Fran.
Well, not this week as she has a snowboarding injury, is out of work and is coming home for about 10 days..........
