Been pushing the 80's here the last two days so yesterday I slipped over to Charlestowne Landing at lunch time.

8. Here on the OR Coast too
I grew up in CA, but lived in MT for most of my adult life; ended up on the coast here. Holy crikey Flowers in February!!! Any time the rain gets me down, I just remember that and it makes everything a-ok. I don't know what that red flower you photographed is called, but I know they're blooming around here too. I just don't have any. I've been meaning to get out in my back yard and see what's peeping up. You've inspired me!

4. Stunning and very much appreciated here
Edited on Wed Feb-06-08 06:19 PM by Blue_In_AK
where we woke up to -7 today. We've been stuck in the deep freeze for a couple of weeks now and looking for probably a week more. When it finally breaks and we get up into the 20s, it'll feel like a heat wave.

7. I just saw on the local TV weather tonight
that it was -70 in Tok, about 200 miles northeast of here, last night, and they had a picture of the digital and mercury thermometers to prove it. I guess I can't really complain about the cold here. :scared:

9. My area is blanketed
with a thick layer of snow! It'll snow again today which makes it day eight, so your pictures are truly a welcomed sight!

11. Awwwww . . . thanks!
Your posey is lovely.

Here's a pic of what is looked outside of my office a couple of weeks ago. Now the snow is so high you can't even see the picnic table. *sigh*
