We had a few days of almost 70 degrees- then down to about 10 degrees! These snowdrops began to bloom and I knew they would get zapped by the sub freezing temps - so, I plopped the entire cluster of bulbs and soil in a bowl and brought them in:

















Have a crocus, too:

1. when I was up there
a crocus poppin' out of the ground meant there was HOPE...

Generally took another tow to three months to get there - but it was the fist positive sign that life was gonna get back to normal...
