That 'color' is difficult to capture and ya' did good. Love the 'compo' on the first one... not that the 2nd isn't just as nice... just like the 1st one a tad more.

Well, you know, all I did was set the camera on the flower (macro) setting, and it did the rest...

I use a Nikon D50 with an 18-250 mm Tamron lens

They are starting to bloom on my hillside, too. We're a bit farther north so it might be another week before they are in their full glory. :-)
