Anyone here shoot --gasp-- film?

I just started messing around with it again. I had never shot Velvia, and have heard raves about it, so I took out a small loan and took two rolls to the sunrise this morning.
Of course, it is E6, and I think they run that on Monday at the local lab... we will see.

Anyway, anyone else playing with old tech?

1. Until August, I was all film.

The Velvia 50 is amazing, but the lighting has to be perfect. If you went at sunrise, you should be very pleased. The colors that is can capture will blow you away.

2. The only film I ever used

was my old Canon sure-shot, or whatever it was, for snapshots. I never had enough money to waste all that film learning the technical stuff. Digital was a godsend for me moneywise.

By the way, I love that photo you posted. I like the way the doorstep looks.
