My year in review

January started as it so often does with ice fog and hoar frost.

Two feet of snow on April 26??!!! Life is so unfair.


Spring finally arrives on the Coastal Trail in May

On the trail to Gull Rock near Hope July 4th weekend


Summer never really arrived, and the ducks are ready to leave again by August.

1. Couldn't possibly pick a favorite because they're all so good

but I have to say the one from the trail to Gull Rock is a really seductive scene. I'm such a wide angle fan, and this photo uses wide angle really intelligently. Just a great composition.

Hope you get a better summer in 2009, but even if you don't, I know you'll bring us back a lot of incredible photos whatever the weather.
