Snowed in (again)
Iced in would be more accurate. Last week I got snowed in at my parents' place. Today, there is a solid sheet of ice extending from my doorway to at least the corner. I'm pretty sure it doesn't end there but I chickened out of going any further. I'd hate to fall and break my new Nikon D40. It would be nice to get out of the house though.

These trees look like something from a Dr. Seuss book.

Happy new year!

~Tin

3. It is fun
It would be more enjoyable if the weather cooperated. We don't usually get this much snow, so it's kind of surreal. Good for experimenting though.

2. glad to see the kids are having fun (at least)
I love the still life.

Here in the south, we have lost every magnolia tree in the yard, save two, to ice and snow events. They just don't recover well.

4. Sorry to hear about your trees.

Magnolias are so pretty when they bloom. That's a real loss.

5. I really like some of the lines in these photos
and the kids playing in the snow just looks fun although I think I see a few adults. ;)
