Castel Amarosa DIAL UP WARNING
Which I may not have spelled correctly.
I was out shooting doors and gates today for the contest and went to the castle on the hill. This is a fabulous place. Some people don't like it, but folly that it is, I love it. Darrell Sattui imported stone and workers from Italy to build it. He took great pains to make it appear as authentic as possible down to using mismatched stone to replicate additions in different eras. It was a great day to take photographs if you didn't notice.

5. I like 7 also
Lots of possibilities here. The castle also has a great collection of chickens. It was also used as a set for a 2008 Disney movie--Bedtime Stories. I haven't heard anything about this movie, so I don't think it's been released yet.

I have some photos of the dungeons that I will have to dig out. A friend was treated to an 80th birthday party there before the place was quite finished.
