If you lent your ladders to a sculptor you should be able to one back, on a Sunday afternoon, right?

A sculptor from afar came to my shop and asked to borrow my ladders, I needed one today to do a job downtown,
and damn, he did not let me have it til the exhibit comes down.

2. Never trust a sculptor!

Sorry that you don't have your ladder back, but thinking of your story compounded by the 50 or so ladders there cracks me up.

3. Oh my friend - 50 does not even make a start. He literally drove through
town and knocked on doors, asked for ladders, made us sign loan agreements, and said unless he has a hundred he will not begin.
then the newspaper published the hours he worked on the installation, 3 days, most of the daylight hours.
People came and watched.
He is a really nice studious smart man. Comes across more like a college professor than a fly - by - day ladder borrower.

I made the hell do with a footstool today, in a recession one does not go to Lowe's and buy yet another ladder when the ones you got are reaching for the sky, temporarily.....

I'm thinking of calling the paper tomorrow and offering a few pictures.

:sarcasm:

I'll post a picture of what I did today, without benefit of ladder, next.
That's what you get for responding to my posts.

4. The ladders to nowhere
Interesting. I like the idea, but I think it could have been done better.
