beyond pigeon, sparrow and parakeet, I'm pretty much perpetually messed up.

5. The gray background does it for me. Great little bird, and the background is a

very painterly way to show it off. Jeff makes me laugh about Parakeet, but, I used to raise canaries, and it reminds me a little of the red factor young ones.

8. Eastern Bluebird, yes. Female? Not so sure.

The wing and back plumage looks pretty blue. The males tend to be much bluer in the spring to attract the females.

9. yeah, confuses me too

there are other blue birds around the same garden that are BLUE, so I was guessing this one was female?

10. I believe that is a female.

She would have to be at least a year old.
They should start nesting here (Arkansas) any day now.
