you captured of the American wigeon. The males are very handsome this time of year.

2. Is that what they're called?

Thanks. I was too lazy to look it up. They have beautiful plumage and I'm strangely fascinated by their funny blue beaks. They're pretty skittish though. It was hard to get close without spooking the entire flock.

I've seen so many robins out walking around. They are fatter than yours. Love the duck!

I think they've just arrived. They were finding lots of worms, so no doubt they'll fatten up quickly.
